Katie is one of the most comfortable people in front of a camera that I've ever met! Her mom actually sold me my first SLR camera and got me started in all of this years ago! I had so much fun following this gorgeous girl around Kansas City!

Mom wanted to photo bomb! I love this family!

I can't remember if jumping in the pond was my idea or hers. Either way she was cooperative! :o)

Senior Session Blowout: Micah {Southeast Idaho High School Senior Photographer}

Micah was so cooperative during his session, and we had so much fun! He brought a cool African drum he plays and he endured several poses from me and outfits from his mother!

His whole family plays really cool instruments. I'm not even going to try to remember what the name of this drum was!

Alright, we had our serious pictures...now for some fun with shutter speeds!

About half an hour before sunset...we started an hour before sunset and had great, warm light the whole time!

Senior Session Blowout: Hunter Mini-Session {Southeast Idaho High School Senior Photographer}

Hunter was one of the busiest seniors I worked with in Kansas City. We squeezed a 30 minute mini-session into his family's busy schedule and made it work! This is one of the busiest families I know; if they can pull it off, no one can say they "don't have time for pictures"!

Senior Session Blowout: Natalie {Southeast Idaho High School Senior Photographer}

Here is the first of many high school senior sessions I did while in Kansas City. NOW is the time to get your senior pictures taken! It will get cold here in Idaho and will stay cold for way too long, as we all know, so let's get them done now!

She was so brave...this ledge was about 25 feet off the ground on the backside, with about a four foot jump (in those four inch heels!) onto the wall to sit on it...this kiddo risked her life for these pictures! :o)

One of my favorites! I had a specific vision in mind and Natalie was such a great sport as I unflattering-ly laid down all over the concrete staircase, upside-down, no less, to get this shot!
